Elizabethtown Sports Park

Just minutes south of Louisville, Kentucky, home to the famous Louisville Slugger bat factory, the Elizabethtown Sports Park is the premier youth baseball complex in the country! All new in 2020 was the installation of AstroTurf on all 12 diamonds of this already outstanding park! Families will love the Sports Park due to the shaded spectator seating, playgrounds at each pod for the little ones, family bathrooms, great concessions, covered tables, mist stations and more! Since 1884, The Hillerich & Bradsby Company has been the undeniable bat maker of choice for baseball players the world over. From big-leaguers to tee ball, their world renowned bat, the Louisville Slugger, has been crushing home runs since the days of Pete Browning and Honus Wagner.

Manufactured and sold out of a factory in Louisville since the late 1800′s, the museum and factory is the perfect inside look into the history and making of this national treasure and a must-see for any baseball enthusiast.

Louisville Slugger Field

Louisville Slugger Field is home to the Louisville Bats, the AAA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. It opened in 2000 with seats for 13,131 fans. Sitting right off the banks of the Ohio River, the stadium is right up the street from the Louisville Slugger Museum. A very special outdoor tribute stretches along that mile of historic Main Street: The Louisville Slugger Walk of Fame.

The Kentucky Derby Museum, which sits on the front steps of historic Churchill Downs, focuses on giving visitors a first hand look at the event for which Louisville, Kentucky is known worldwide, The Kentucky Derby. The Museum consists of two floors of exhibit space, including a 360-degree theater that shows the HD video “The Greatest Race.”
